Photo Journal #4: At Haworth

“I can live alone, if self-respect, and circumstances require me so to do. I need not sell my soul to buy bliss. I have an inward treasure born with me, which can keep me alive if all extraneous delights should be withheld, or offered only at a price I cannot afford to give.”  Jane Eyre ~ Charlotte Brontë

  1. Aaaaaw Howarth, wonderful place. I remember being shocked at how tiny the waistline of one of the brontes dresses was! Absolutely love the quote at the beginning, can definitely relate to that. Great photos too!

  2. I LOVE this, Claire. I feel like I went on the trip with you. I’m actually dying to get to see this in person. Maybe we can meet up there sometime? I love the photos, love the subject, love the simple writing. Magic.
